Snow in December

I was so spot on with yesterday's post. Around 5pm last night, right before I left work, we started seeing snow flurries! It kept coming down and around 8pm, we noticed it started sticking. I woke up this morning and it was EVERYWHERE! My mom called me at 6:30am to tell me that the roads and bridges were very icy and slick! Then, she called again at 7:45am to tell me she had only made it about 15 miles. OMG! It is craziness in Arkansas when there is snow. So I called in to work and told them I would be late. I was not about to even try to drive in this stupid mess. It still took me way too long to get here. People do NOT know how to drive.

Anyway, that was our first snow of the year. Hopefully there is much more to come because it is beautiful, BUT let's also hope people become more accustom to driving in it. {Smile}

Where Did Fall Go?

It is becoming ridiculously cold as of this week! I like cold weather. I love the comfy boots, the fabulous scarves, the long peacoats, and the babies with footie pjs! But, I hate feeling like my nose and fingertips are going to fall off. I must have blinked and missed Fall! What the heck? I'm just not a jacket person. Even though I love how precious they are, I don't want to feel bound, like I can't get away. 

Last week, it warmed up for a brief moment and I thought it was going to be a taste of the Fall we missed. But NO! It's around 34 degrees and attempting to sleet. I just got an email that it's snowing where I live. Ew! I do not want to drive home in that! I still have yet to buy the girls snow boots, hats, and gloves. I'm not ready for the cold of winter. I missed out on FALL!

Pajama Time!

I bought these adorable matching pajamas for Cami and Jaci Claire when I was about 6 months pregnant with Jaci. They were on sale for..get this.. $1.25!! I almost passed out. And they are so stinkin' cute! Cami's been wearing hers for a while, but Jaci Claire's just now started to fit. She is finally wearing her 6 month clothes! Yay! Actually it's more like her 3-6mo clothes. But at least she's out of the 0-3 months. Poor lil bug. Everywhere I take her, people think she's only about 3 or 4 months old. :) Anyway, my Carrah princess was sleeping through all of these pictures. Boo! Still cute though :)

My Sick Bug..

My girls have been sick for 2 months, it seems like! Well, just about.. 2 weeks ago, we all had the Stomach Flu. Now everyone has sinus infections and fever. It just wont stop. It's like they are passing everything they can back and forth and i'm SO over it! It needs to LEAVE! It's bad enough when one is sick, but when all of them are at once, it's impossible. I've had to miss several days of work because of it. Which is fine, but I just wish it'd get better soon. :( They act as though Gremlins have overtaken their sweet little bodies! I'm ready for my precious girls to be back. 

I think Jaci Claire is getting teeth right now too! So it's a double whammy of fussy girl! BOO!

Thanksgiving 2011

Best Thanksgiving EVER!

We went to my dad's house for lunch. It was a small gathering this year, which is fine with me. The girls had a blast. They played with the toys there, the swing/slide set, and the brand new 3 week old PUPPIES!!! So precious. Jaci Claire actually laughed out loud at them :) Precious! Cami and Carrah were both a little shy to hold them. But they did enjoy looking at them.

My only bummer was not getting to go shop last night or this morning for Black Friday. Sadly, i'm at work! BOO! It's okay though because i'm broke until Wednesday.. haha. Hopefully there will still be some great deals out there somewhere. Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday!
