Another..

My belly looks a lot like it did when I was pregnant with CRC. I am bigger{in the belly} this time around, but smaller in the arms, booty and legs. So hmm..i'm just not sure :) I'll attach a picture of me at 20 weeks with CRC next week to compare.

KidISMS - CDC AND CRC

I used to do this all the time on my old blog and I miss it.

I don't have a ton to share, but yesterday both girls were cracking me up.
While I was getting ready yesterday morning, CDC was sitting on the bed eating popcorn out of the Christmas tins{you know the ones!}She was thoroughly enjoying that popcorn too and had no clue I was watching her. She looked at the TV and said "I wish I could marry this popcorn." with the silliest, googly eyed face. I started laughing and she turned quick to see me watching her. I asked her where she heard that. She told me "Sam on iCarly said she wish she could marry her pie." LOL! I know that's pitiful that she watches enough TV to know that, but girl seriously loves her iCarly and apparently popcorn too.

Later that same day, we were in the care and the song "Cooler Than Me" came on. The first thing I heard from the backseat was "Is that Justin Bieber?" coming from CRC!! I laughed so hard out loud. It shocked me, really. Cami talks about him all the time, but I didn't realize CRC had picked up on it.

They are so funny. Sometimes I get so busy and forget to just sit and listen to them. They're always so imaginative and say the most interesting things.

Visiting Pictures of Christmas Past

I was just looking at pictures on Facebook and came across very similar Christmas pictures from the past two years. I love love comparison pictures!! I just thought i'd share them.

Cami in 2008.
OMG look at her hair!! I wish i'd never cut it. She's so precious!!
in '09, being extra poised and lady like. Sweet thing.
this year, in 2010. I love her genuine, silly grin here!
 I see a lot of growth from '08 to '09, but not much from last year to this. Mostly in her face, if anything. She does look much more mature and less "baby faced" She's always been so photogenic. My little model girl.

Here's my itty bitty CRC in '08 at only 2 months old

 in '09 giving the cutest "Cindy Loo Hoo" vibe EVER!
 ..and this year in 2010, sporting some extra long bangs that mommy promptly cut after seeing this picture!
I see quite a huge difference in CRCover the past two years. She's grown a ton and her little face has changed dramatically, but is still oh.so.cute!!

Christmas time is always great for us. I love the holidays and capturing my sweet girls in front of the Christmas tree is always a must! I absolutely love to see them grow from year to year.

Merry Merry Christmas 2010!!

Merry Christmas 2010!!!
We've had such a great Christmas. The girls were definitely blessed this year. We had three different Christmas party/family functions to go to and there were many many presents at each one for the girls. That's not even including all of the stuff mommy, daddy, and Santa brought!

I have about a million pictures to share. I will let this post mostly explain itself with pictures.

 These are from Christmas Eve at NiNi's family's Christmas party.

 Me with my mommy!
 The girls' loot on Christmas morning. Actually this was the night before when "Santa" set it all up.
 Their letter from Santa.

 The first thing they both ran to was their awesome Dora Kitchen that I boguht at a Children's Consignment Sell for , get this... $35!!!

 Dora Bicycle for lil miss. She loves it!!
 ..and Miss Fancy Nancy herself. Aren't these adorable?!
 Some of their new rooms in their doll house. We have a few more that I didn't get in this pic. They are obsessed with this doll house. They've had it for a year or so, but are just now getting into it.
 Christmas day..about to go to Papa T's house.
 I asked them "Who can say cheese better?" LOL! Love this!!!
 Burr! It was freezing outside. Too cold for pics mom.
 Cheeseball!!
 On the way there, bright eyed and bushy tailed..
 On the way home..worn smooth out!!
Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope everyone had as great of a Christmas 2010 as we did!! Happy Birthday Jesus.

The Eve of Christmas Eve

Here we are, almost Christmas! It seems to come faster every year, doesn't it? Don't get me wrong, i'm ready for Christmas. I've been finished with my shopping for weeks now, but these crazy weather temps we've been having is making it hard to get in that winter, fuzzy, snuggly Christmas mood. But i'm trying!

Today, I have got to finish wrapping the last few gifts I found stashed in the closet. {I always do that!} At least I found them before Christmas this year.

I also have to buy stuff to cook. Grr!! I hate cooking new, Holiday foods. And it's even harder for me personally because I have to make it all Gluten Free, so it's basically from scratch. Blah..I guess i'm just lazy.

We did get our Christmas cards in the mail..hooray!!! That makes me a little bit more excited. I've just got to get up and off my booty and go to town.

So much to do...so little time..

PreK Christmas Party

Yesterday was CDC's Christmas Party at school. They didn't do anything extravagant, but the kids got to wear their pajamas, had treats, and their teacher bought them all a few gifts. Parents were allowed to come to the party and bring treats. It's so strange for me to already be going to school functions for CDC. It still seems like she was just born. {I wonder if that's what my parents meant when they said it. And I wonder if i'll still be saying that in 14 years when she is *gasp*18!}

Here are the girls before we left.{CRCgot to wear her jammies too} So hard to get a good picture of two kids, I can't even fathom trying to get 3 to look at me and smile.

Showing off their new Carter's jammies! My fav pjs for kids! {CRC and that darn paci!!!}
I was trying to get them to smile and in the meantime they were making silly faces at each other. I just thought it was too cute to pass up. :)
CDCsitting in her spot at school. She was sooo good!! All the kids were running around like crazy, shouting, hooping and hollering, but not my girl. She sat there the entire time and listened to the teacher.
Modelling her "Hand Print Reindeer Hat"
Num Yummy Cupcakes!! Such a cutie!! I love her smile.
CDC with one of her {messy} friends, Siana.
We had fun and she got lots of goodies!! She took a great nap when we got home too. :)

5 Days 'Til Christmas

Weeeeeee!!!! I'm SO excited!! Seriously, I think I am still partly that 5 year old giddy little girl that can't sleep the night before Christmas. That was totally me and i'm still the same way! I LOVE Christmas! I use my kids as excuses to get so excited and go all out decorating and buying gifts, but really, i'd be doing the same thing even if I didn't have kiddos. However, they do make it tons more fun! I love seeing the excitement on their faces. CDC has asked me every single day since we bought the Christmas tree if "Christmas here yet?"

I do already have all of their gifts purchased and wrapped and snugly under the tree, waiting to be torn open. But I do not have my other family members gifts wrapped. I also do not have all of the ingredients for the food i'm going to try and make for Christmas day. That's on the agenda for today...thru Thursday. {wink}

Guess I better get a move on.. after I finish my Creme Brulee Latte, of course.

Sugar Sugar..You Are My Candy Girl{s}

We made our Jesus Cookies tonight. The girls loved them and their meaning. We let them cook while they took their baths, then they had one cookie each before bed time. This is what happens when CRC eats chocolate or any sugar, for that matter. CDCjust went along with her craziness for the sake of a "silly photo op" No, I did not tell them to act silly and pose like this. it was all them. Never a dull moment..and i'm loving it!!
{for those of you who followed me previously, you may notice CRCs right eye turning in again after her surgery in March. It is ok and normal with her Albinism. Her Opthamologist is not worried about it as long as it doesn't happen when she has her glasses on.}

The Day of Rest

I love Sundays! Everything about this day is comfortable and heart warming, especially right at Christmas time.

Today, i'm going to sit down with the girls and try to explain that Jesus is the reason for the season. We've discussed it with CDC from time to time, but never in detail. I think she is at the age now where she can understand better.

We bought {Gluten Free} Cookie Mix at Wal Mart and are going to bake them tonight. They will be Jesus cookies! I guess I should have done a cake to reiterate that it is His birthday, but I had a mental block I guess. Wal Mart will do that to you, you know? It's a mad house right now!!

We did not go to church this morning, as i'm still searching for the perfect one. Actually, if I were searching hard enough, I guess i'd be somewhere this morning. No excuses. The truth is, I slept in because I worked until 2am. {BOO!} Speaking of my job, it's getting a bit more difficult. My belly is getting bigger and as busy as my job as, people are constantly bumping into me and it scares me sometimes! I'm afraid i'm going to get rammed in the stomach. That's why I said it just doesn't seem morally right for a preggo to work in a bar! Grr. But I do make very good money..so it's hard to stop until I actually have to.

Back to this beautiful Sunday.. It's been so peaceful thus far. The girls woke up, played and ran through the house, we cooked breakfast together, and now i'm having my coffee before getting out and doing our running. Although, I am enjoying sitting here on the couch alone, for now. Happy Sunday!

Christmas Cards? What Are Those?

I've always been good about getting our family Christmas cards made, but this year, with everything that's been going on, it has slipped my mind. I decided, last minute(about ten minutes ago to be exact) to try and take some pictures of the girls in front of the tree. They were dressed fairly cute today so I gave it a shot.

CRCis in a really weird, goofy face stage right now. All of her smiles look cheeky. She also looks like she is missing teeth, but I assure you, she isn't. It's that darn paci causing havoc in her mouth. Alas, a few turned out pretty cute.

 CDC, as always, is ever so photogenic. :) Even though she was in a funky, grumpy mood!

 I like this one because she was really laughing!
 This is the best I could do of little CRC. Poor boo bear. She just doesn't care about being clean or neat and tidy like CDC does. lol. Gotta love her though ;)
I think they are possible Christmas card contenders. Just need to try to get one of the both of them together.

It's a...

BABY! {lol!}

Apparently I wasn't scheduled for an ultrasound today. The doctor could see the disappointment on my face when she told me I wouldn't be finding out the sex of the baby, so she wheeled in the old school ultrasound machine. We got a great look at the booty and legs and did NOT see 3 white lines. She said she couldn't be positive, but she was pretty sure it was a BOY!! I thought so too because I clearly saw 3 white lines with both of my girls. She said "I'm saying BOY and i'm pretty positive they'll tell you the same thing at your 20 week ultrasound."

I was in shock!!! Nearly fell off the table after it sunk in. A boy?? Me? No... I have been thinking all along that this baby would be a boy, but I guess I never totally prepared myself for it.

I don't think i'm going to run out and buy everything in blue just yet. I will wait until Jan when I get my anatomy u/s. I'm not sure if I haven't gotten over the shock or what, but I just can't get overly excited just yet. I don't know the first thing about boys!! I'm sooo girly and have all girly things. I'm sure it'll hit me in the next few hours. Especially when I start shopping!! :)

Edited to add..I forgot to mention HIS name {smile..told you i'd get excited!} ..drumroll please...

Cooper Jude.

17 Weeks Pregnant Baby #3!

17wks!
Not the best Belly Pic with the cropped, 1/4 length sleeved shirt. But I am 17 weeks as of today, so I had to take a pic.. I'll do better next week. I don't have much of a "baby belly", but it is much bigger to me.

Creme Brulee Latte aka My Best Friend!

I will be the first to admit, I am a coffee adict. Normally, I make my own coffee.I'm not high maintenance, you know. {wink} No sugar, no cream, just black, rich coffee. I like that strong taste of the coffee bean. I dont want to fluff it with sweets or dairy. No, not me.

Until, this week. My boss bought us all gift cards to Starbucks. At first, I thought.. "Ok, i'll use it for my regular, black coffee" But when I pulled up I noticed the Creme Brulee Latte. Just the name caught my eye. I decided to venture out and ask about it. The lady at the window told me "It's one of our Holiday specials. A rich, buttery flavor, whipped cream, with caramel candy on top. Hmm... maybe I could try that. {I guess I had a bit of a sweet tooth that day.} I did, though, tell her to please make mine Decaf with Soy and skip the whip. She told me "not a problem" I paid and headed out to try my new treat.

That first sip was glorious! I thought "How could I possibly have gone this long and never tasted this wonderfulness?" I've been every morning since then. And I will continue to go.....until my giftcard runs out because yes, I am that cheap. They are proud of their coffee!! But I will indulge and enjoy until the goodness runs out.

Sweet Treats

The weekend before last was one of the best i've had in a looong time. We ventured out of the state of Arkansas and went to the fun city of Branson, Missouri!! I always have so much fun when I get to visit Branson. This time was no exception.

We only stayed for the day because it was a spur of the moment trip. We went shopping{!!}, got ice cream, watched fudge being made, and looked at all of the Christmas lights around the city.

The girls had a great time! Their favorite part was the Disney store and of course, ice cream! Yum!

 It was FREEZing outside. There were no tables in the fudgery. Boo!

 I love this picture!! Her one little eye looking at me gives it so much character. :)
 My blue eyed baby. She loved every last bite of her "pink ice cream"
 And just for fun, silly ice cream covered face! {CHEESE!!}
