Snow in December

I was so spot on with yesterday's post. Around 5pm last night, right before I left work, we started seeing snow flurries! It kept coming down and around 8pm, we noticed it started sticking. I woke up this morning and it was EVERYWHERE! My mom called me at 6:30am to tell me that the roads and bridges were very icy and slick! Then, she called again at 7:45am to tell me she had only made it about 15 miles. OMG! It is craziness in Arkansas when there is snow. So I called in to work and told them I would be late. I was not about to even try to drive in this stupid mess. It still took me way too long to get here. People do NOT know how to drive.

Anyway, that was our first snow of the year. Hopefully there is much more to come because it is beautiful, BUT let's also hope people become more accustom to driving in it. {Smile}

Where Did Fall Go?

It is becoming ridiculously cold as of this week! I like cold weather. I love the comfy boots, the fabulous scarves, the long peacoats, and the babies with footie pjs! But, I hate feeling like my nose and fingertips are going to fall off. I must have blinked and missed Fall! What the heck? I'm just not a jacket person. Even though I love how precious they are, I don't want to feel bound, like I can't get away. 

Last week, it warmed up for a brief moment and I thought it was going to be a taste of the Fall we missed. But NO! It's around 34 degrees and attempting to sleet. I just got an email that it's snowing where I live. Ew! I do not want to drive home in that! I still have yet to buy the girls snow boots, hats, and gloves. I'm not ready for the cold of winter. I missed out on FALL!

Pajama Time!

I bought these adorable matching pajamas for Cami and Jaci Claire when I was about 6 months pregnant with Jaci. They were on sale for..get this.. $1.25!! I almost passed out. And they are so stinkin' cute! Cami's been wearing hers for a while, but Jaci Claire's just now started to fit. She is finally wearing her 6 month clothes! Yay! Actually it's more like her 3-6mo clothes. But at least she's out of the 0-3 months. Poor lil bug. Everywhere I take her, people think she's only about 3 or 4 months old. :) Anyway, my Carrah princess was sleeping through all of these pictures. Boo! Still cute though :)

My Sick Bug..

My girls have been sick for 2 months, it seems like! Well, just about.. 2 weeks ago, we all had the Stomach Flu. Now everyone has sinus infections and fever. It just wont stop. It's like they are passing everything they can back and forth and i'm SO over it! It needs to LEAVE! It's bad enough when one is sick, but when all of them are at once, it's impossible. I've had to miss several days of work because of it. Which is fine, but I just wish it'd get better soon. :( They act as though Gremlins have overtaken their sweet little bodies! I'm ready for my precious girls to be back. 

I think Jaci Claire is getting teeth right now too! So it's a double whammy of fussy girl! BOO!

Say a prayer for us, please :)

Thanksgiving 2011

Best Thanksgiving EVER!

We went to my dad's house for lunch. It was a small gathering this year, which is fine with me. The girls had a blast. They played with the toys there, the swing/slide set, and the brand new 3 week old PUPPIES!!! So precious. Jaci Claire actually laughed out loud at them :) Precious! Cami and Carrah were both a little shy to hold them. But they did enjoy looking at them.

My only bummer was not getting to go shop last night or this morning for Black Friday. Sadly, i'm at work! BOO! It's okay though because i'm broke until Wednesday.. haha. Hopefully there will still be some great deals out there somewhere. Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday!

 

Traffic = GRR!

I drive about 35 miles to work every morning then 35 miles back. Right in the middle of downtown BUSY town rush hour!! Craziness!! I'm working in the "big city" around here and right on the busiest Highway in town. I have the worst case of Road Rage of anyone I know, as it is, now add this madhouse traffic, and it's 10x more intense! I yell at the top of my lungs. I bang on my steering wheel. I swerve around people. I'd love to honk, but I never do. It just blows my mind that people drive so SLOW!

Don't they have anywhere to be... ;)

Sounds yummy huh? Haha! That's the only two solids I've introduced so far. She loved them both, especially the Green Beans! She was getting the spoon technique down too. Yay, big girl :)
(Ps. Mel, no her eyes aren't brown. They're a darker blue than the big girls though. And they have burst of green/yellow in the middle. They look a lot like my eye color.)

Zoo Jam 2011

CD and I had a date last Sunday! Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Eric Church, and Toby Keith for Zoo Jam 2011. It was an event created to make money to support the local zoo.  She had a blast! I rarely get 1 on 1 days w/ her, so it was really special!
I didn't get as many pics as I would've liked, but it was awesome. We didn't meet any of the artists because they got off their tour bus, onto a golf cart and onto the stage then right back! But we saw them up close! Eric Church was amazing!!! He was by far my favorite!
CDC strutted thru the backstage gate like she was somebody big time! Haha! She got nachos and kettle corn and slid down the inflatable slide. It was such a fun day!

I decided to make homemade nachos last Saturday to go w/ college football! They were absolutely delicious!!
They had ground turkey, refried beans, shredded cheddar cheese, spicy guacamole, black olives, jalapenos, and white cheese dip! Yum!

Best Big Sisters

I'm sure I'm biased, but these girls are the most precious big sisters on the planet :)
They are such a huge help to me. I've so enjoyed every minute with them lately. Both girls' personalities are really shining through and it still amazes me everyday how different they are. Its so cool to watch them play together and love on each other, yet still have their own unique likes and interests.
I feel like I'm finally coming into my own as a mom of three girls. I used to struggle with finding the balance between CDC AND CRC. Everyone told me I favored CRC. which I may have because of her Albinism, but I never did it intentionally. Now though, with 3, I've learned its ok to love each of them uniquely. I love them all the same, but I've encouraged them to explore their differences and with that I've embraced each of them in their own.
They are my everything and I'm shown everyday just how blessed I am.

Happy 4mos JClaire

My sweet baby girl is 4 months old now, as of the 23rd!! I can't believe how fast the time is flying by! I love this little girl so stinkin' much. She's still the best baby ever! I'm so blessed. All she ever does is smile ear to ear, sleep, eat, and play. :)
She started rolling over both front to back and back to front. She's almost sitting up with no support. And just this week I gave her her very first bite of solids. It was Oatmeal and she loved it. I thought she was going to attack the spoon! We're working on keeping it in her mouth. *wink* So cute! She is still tiny, weighing a mere 11.2lbs Aw..my peanut.
I love my JClaire She is such a joy to our life!

The Parade and Fair Came to Town!

With all of my anxiety and emotions swirling around with these test results, I've lacked on blogging about the girls and fun stuff!

So much has happened in the passed two weeks! The first Razorbacks game and tailgate party, my birthday(post n pics to come), and the fair and parade came to town! We had so much fun!!

We made it to both in one night! The parade was kind of blah..just a small town parade with tons of beauty queens marching bands and firetrucks :) Then we went to the fair. My dad had a booth in the fair so he got FREE wristbands for the girls to ride all of the rides. They rode every single kiddie ride and had a blast! We stayed out until 10pm. Oops! :) Oh! And both girls and myself were caught on camera by the local news. So cool!!

I always love when the fair comes to town! Corndogs, caramel apples and lemonade are a must! I'm so happy the girls can join in on the tradition! Now to wait for the state fair!

Biopsy Results

I had my biopsy done last Thursday and the results came back today.
It was a low grade lesion like the pap showed so they are going to wait 3months and do a repeat Pap to just keep an eye on it. Praise God it wasn't more serious as of now!!! Thank you for all of your prayers and I hope you'll continue to keep me in them.

More Abnormal than Before

I'm not going to be very eloquent in this post because my emotions are all over the place. I can't speak with poise or big words because all I feel is fear and shock!

I had posted months ago about an abnormal pap. They wanted to wait until after I had the baby to get a repeat. Well, I did last week and it came back worse..

I actually have a lesion now and have to go in for a biopsy on Thursday.

I can't even begin to put into words how scared I am. Of course, my mind races to the worst of the worst scenario. I'm terrified for the procedure and most of all the results. I have no insurance so its even more complicated.

So many questions run through my mind like "why me?" Am I so bad a person to deserve all of this turmoil I've gone through in the last year? Am I being punished for getting divorced? I just don't understand so many things. I know God is in control and there must be a reason for this to be happening to me. I'm trying to put the fear and worry behind me because it is a sin after all. I'm pushing myself to stay focused on the girls and what I know is great in my life at the moment rather than what could be bad.

Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

JClaire - 3mos old

I can't believe its already been 3 whole months since I first laid eyes on my sweet JClaire. She has blessed my life beyind words. I couldn't ask for a more perfect child.

She loves her Fisher Price Rainforest Swing! She snoozes in it and it allows me to get thing accomplished! Naptime is every few hours for her..in the swing. On the opposite side of the spectrum, JClaire hates her car seat while riding in the car! Oh my goodness, she used to love it and fall sound asleep, but now as soon as she is buckled in, the cries ensue. Grr! I am almost ready to be house bound, just to avoid the car stress! I hope that phase passes quickly.

She only weighs about 10lbs now. She's definitely my little peanut. Most of her Newborn clothes still fit! But I have been able to get her into a few of the 0-3mo outfits.

I'm loving the baby smiles!!! She gets tickled all the time. Such a happy baby girl. The fan is by far her favorite thing to smile at. But I'm pretty popular in her eyes as well :)CDC and CRC can always make her grin too. That is until they start yanking on her legs. Yeesh! Well, that's mostly CRC when she is very tired. I think she's still getting used to having a "baby" sister because she thinks she is still the baby!

Overall, its been wonderful. I can't imagine not having JClaire in our lives! Everyone falls in love with her as soon as they meet her.

CDC's First Day of Kindergarten

My big 5 year old started Kindergarten on August 15 2011. She was so stinkin' excited!! Normally, she is not a morning person and its like peeling her out from under the covers. But on that first day of school, she bounced out of bed and was just as chipper as a little lark.
I had asked her what she wanted to wear on her first day and she said "a dress! A purple one." So I went to Old Navy and found this cute dress and little ballet flats to match. She loved it, thank goodness. Wouldn't want to disappoint her on day 1 of Kinder! I still remember my outfit on that day. Its such a special memory! I hope she will always remember it too :)

Sisters Are Your First Friends

It has been a long time since I've blogged. Its so hard to get into it from my phone. But I want to keep trying so I can look nback and see what we were up to.
Miss JClaire will be a month old tomorrow! :) She is still such an amazing baby. I couldn't ask for anything different. She's absolutely perfect! I love her so much!! It's crazy how much love you have to give for each of your children.
JClaire is starting to become more alert and the big girls are loving it! They want to hold her and "play" w/ her non stop. The first couple of weeks I was leary of letting them hold her and be all up in her face, but now I'm all for it. They know to be gentle and they genuinely just want to make her happy. They both give her a hug and kiss every morning and before naps and bedtime. Its the sweetest bond. I have to be honest and say it makes me wish I grew up w/ sisters! They love each other so much and it makes me so happy! :)

Everything Update

It's so hard for me to remember to blog from my phone. It's a nuisance to me because it's so hard to come back and check my comments and I can't read anyone else's blog bc my phone is so slow!

I took JClaire for her 1 week check up(She is 2 weeks old today!!!). She is "perfect" according to the Pediatrician :) But I already knew that, of course! She weighed 6lbs2oz, which the Ped said was "Amazing, esp for breast fed babies" because usually they only want them back at their birth weight at a week old and she passed hers. Woo Hoo!! I am still breast feeding so I felt like a champ. However, the past few days I've been having to supplement w/ formula a little bit because I'm not making a ton of milk and Jaci is still starving! And I don't have a pump either.. I only plan on bfeeding for about a month anyway. I have to go back to work and don't want to have to deal w/ all that. I just wanted to do it a little while because I know it is good for her. She is seriously THE best, most content baby I've ever been around. I don't know how I got so blessed, but she is truly a dream child. She makes my crazy life a little breezier!

The big girls are doing well. CDC's is finished w/ PreK so now I have all 3 at home w/ me. Pray for me!! :) So far so good.. They are obsessed w/ the baby. They remind me of people staring at monkeys in the zoo when they're around her. Lol! Today CDC has to get her 5yr shots! Omg, I think I'm freaking out more than she is. I still, to this day, remember getting my shots and hating everyone around me for it! I so hope she does well and that we won't need a straight jacket to hold her down.

I'm feeling great!! I've never felt so good and like myself after having a baby. Its really nice. I'm getting a little aggravated that my jeans/shorts don't fit yet, but I know I have time. Sigh... ;)

The First Week

I can't believe a week has almost past since JCLAIRE entered the world! Its gone incredibly fast, like the blink of an eye really..

I am loving having another baby. I was worried for a long time that I wouldn't adjust to a third child and that it'd just be hard for me overall. I had a very hard time after the deliveries of CDC and CRC. I was really sick and depressed, but I think I may escape all of that this time. Thank God!

JClaire is a dream baby! She is so super easy. The only time she ever cries is when she's hungry or has gas. And she has a ton of gas!!! I'm breast feeding so I'm sure it is something I'm eating that isn't agreeing w her little tummy. Other than that though, she is perfectly content and if she isn't sleeping she hangs out in her vibrating seat or on me :)

The girls love her. They give her a hug and kiss every morning and night. CDC is still more interested than CRC She's very good with her too. Really gentle and attentive. She's a big helper too! CRC is more rambunctious so I really have to watch when she's around.
